PWM repeaters are a cost-effective method for the almost limitless expansion of LED lighting systems without the need for additional dimming protocols or signal interpretation. The result is precisely consistent dimming levels across extensive lighting systems from a single control source.

The repeaters use the existing PWM signal provided by a DMX, DALI or analogue driver and repeat it through multi-channel outputs (ranging from 16W to 32W per channel). This approach ensures perfect dimming across the entire system, while dramatically reducing the number of drivers and controllers required, and therefore the budgetary impact of the greater system. This is often the make-or-break for the financial viability of a complex, extensive lighting system.

These repeaters are commonly used to extend dimming control over Digilin's compact exterior Taipan series.
