Holding the record of being the tallest buildings in the world for years, Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is an iconic national landmark recognised globally. Digilin were sought out to develop fibre optic lighting systems for a series of public fountains situated at a public square at the base of the towers.
The fibre optic systems deployed deliver brilliant colour change sequences using DMX. The project required precise planning of installation points and angles to ensure that light delivery occurs as required to achieve the envisioned effects. This brilliant application of fibre optic lighting technology achieved interesting colour interactions above and below the water level.
