The Red Earth Arts Precinct (REAP) in Karratha is a vital cultural hub for the Pilbara region, serving as a multipurpose venue for arts, culture, and community events. Opened in 2018, this $52 million project features a 478-seat auditorium, rooftop terrace, grassed amphitheatre, and more, making it a cornerstone of local culture and creativity.
For this dynamic architectural achievement, Digilin provided advanced lighting solutions that enhanced the space’s modern aesthetic. Our RGB HaloFlex exterior linear systems were integral in illuminating the building’s facade and the feature artwork, adding striking visual effects to this iconic structure.
In addition, Digilin’s Step 80 systems were installed in the theatre stairs, ensuring functional yet elegant lighting. Compact linear systems were used throughout the passageways to provide consistent, energy-efficient lighting that blends seamlessly with the overall design. The integration of these lighting systems underscores REAP’s commitment to blending function with beauty in both public and performance spaces.
