Taipan Pool is a robust, versatile luminaire developed specifically for permanent recessed submersion in underwater locations such as pools, fountains, spas and ponds. Not only is the fixture fully submersible, it is also extremely durable, with IP68 and IK10 ratings. Commonly specified in fixed blue output, the luminaire is a regular selection for premium resorts and holiday destinations where systems must be 100% operational at all times.

Available with a range of lenses from spot to wide, as well as a medium oval (14°x40°) and a frosted diffuser, Taipan Pool can be configured to achieve a multitude of underwater light effects. The RGB version and fixed colour outputs offer further capacity for fulfilling creative designs.

Ever since the fixture was developed in 2001, Taipan Pool's marine-grade 316 stainless steel body core has been machined locally in Brisbane. Over the years we've been updating its electrical components, achieving higher lumen outputs while using less power and developing further optical options, but its press-fit body design is so perfect we haven't even considered revising it.

This product is part of the extensive Taipan family, offering 15 different body types ranging from inground uplights to adjustable spots and wall-mounted dual-direction illuminating versions, enabling designers to bring the unique features of this durable fixture to an almost limitless range of installation locations.

Taipan Pool operates using constant current if configured as dimmable, whereas the non-dimmable configuration is constant voltage. The non-dimmable constant voltage versions have an in-built sensor and self-regulating voltage function, ensuring consistent light outputs across multiple fixtures in extended runs, nullifying the impact of voltage drop on illumination outcomes. Please be aware that in Australia, as per AS/NZS3000, each luminaire inside a pool or spa should be connected to an individual driver.
