Taipan Wall UpDown is a robust wall-mounted luminaire with dual directional up (indirect) and down (direct) outputs, developed for building exteriors and urban streetscapes. The fixture is extremely durable, with IP66 and IK10 ratings. Each output can be configured with different LED colours and lenses, creating an extraordinary breadth of options. A common configuration is for the direct output to use a wide lens, while the indirect uses a narrow to shoot up the side of the building facade or structural beam. The fixture's base and mounting holes suit a standard conduit inspection box.

Available with a range of lenses from spot to wide, as well as a medium oval (14°x40°) and a frosted diffuser, Taipan Wall UpDown can be configured to achieve a multitude of light effects.

Taipan Wall UpDown's marine-grade 316 stainless steel body is machined locally in Brisbane. This product is part of the extensive Taipan series, offering 15 different body types ranging from inground uplights to adjustable spots and pool luminaire versions, enabling designers to bring the unique features of this durable fixture to an almost limitless range of installation locations.

Taipan Wall UpDown operates using constant current if configured as dimmable, whereas the non-dimmable configuration is constant voltage. The non-dimmable constant voltage versions have an in-built sensor and self-regulating voltage function, ensuring consistent light outputs across multiple fixtures in extended runs, nullifying the impact of voltage drop on illumination outcomes.
